Service Description

60 min – Although spider veins are common and usually harmless, they can also be irritating, embarrassing and negatively impact your self-confidence. Lifestyle changes and compression stockings are typically the first line of defense against these enlarged and visible vessels. When these methods fall short, a medical procedure may be needed to eliminate the affected veins. Sclerotherapy is a minimally invasive procedure used to treat spider veins, which are small dilated blood vessels that appear on the surface of the skin. It involves injecting a solution directly into the affected veins, causing them to collapse and fade over time. One commonly used solution is Tromboject, a medication that helps to irritate and damage the inner lining of the veins, leading to their closure. This procedure is performed by a trained healthcare professional and can be an effective treatment option for those seeking to improve the appearance of spider veins. Sclerotherapy and laser vein treatments are the modern procedures of choice to eradicate visible spider veins and their symptoms. Rejuvenus Clinic offers both treatment options.
