Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) Laser treatment for non-invasive Facelift and Skin Rejuvenation is a revolutionary non-surgical procedure to address skin laxity, lines, wrinkles, loss of volume, uneven tone and texture on the face, acne spots, scars and blemishes. The procedure uses a concentrated beam of laser pointed at the skin’s irregularities, effectively removing layers and exposing another new layer underneath. The new layer is comprised of younger skin cells that, once fully healed from the laser treatment, will be more elastic and will give you a more youthful glow.
At Rejuvenus Clinic, we use this revolutionized technique in order to minimize the pain and at the same time provide an accurate and safe procedure for the patient. Most patients will see some immediate results, with the final result gradually appearing over a period of approximately 2-3 months.The treatment time is roughly 45-60 mins. We recommend 3 sessions, 14-21 days apart. There is no downtime and you can continue your daily activities right after treatment. There may be mild redness, swelling and peeling for only a day or two, so you may wish to consider this a “social downtime” procedure.

LASER TATTOO REMOVAL

At Rejuvenus Clinic, we use only Q-Switched lasers that can produce the amount of energy to remove both dark and bright tattoos without scarring. The energy is absorbed by the ink particles, which then shatter into tiny fragments. In the days following the laser procedure, the body’s immune system will flush away the shattered ink particles and cause the tattoo to fade. With each treatment, more ink will be shattered, eventually leaving the skin free of the tattoo.

The process begins with a consultation, where the Rejuvenus team determines the laser wavelength(s) needed to provide the optimal tattoo reduction results, based on the size, placement, and pigmentation of the tattoo. Most patients end up being treated with 2-3 lasers. The procedure is performed using topical anaesthetic cream and which usually takes between 30-60 minutes.

Is laser treatment painful?
The pain from laser removal has always been noted significantly less than other methods like waxing. To reduce discomfort, our laser machine uses a patented cooling system that sprays cryogen to deeply cool the top layer of your skin before and after every pulse of the laser. In addition, our laser technicians use ice packs to cool the area and make the treatment as comfortable as possible.
Can I shave or wax in between treatments?
It is recommended to avoid other methods of hair removal in between treatments. This is because the more we shave/wax the more hair being stimulated. However, if it is absolutely necessary, we advise SHAVING only & keep it to a minimum. The day before your appointment, shave the area that is being treated.
Am I required to have a consultation and undergo a patch test?
Yes, we will book a complimentary consultation appointment for you with one of our certified laser technicians prior to scheduling any laser hair-removal treatments. This is for your own protection, and we cannot make exceptions. At this time, you should also share with us any past experiences you have had with laser hair removal.
When will I begin to see results?
Some laser treatments such as hair removal will see immediately results after the treatment. Other laser treatments such as laser for facial treatments will see results over the next 7–14 days. Thus, you will see better skin in a few weeks.
How many treatments will I need?
Most areas require six-to-eight treatments. Ideally, they should be four to six weeks apart. However, depending upon your skin tone, and hair colour and density, this may vary. Your technician will be able to provide you with a more precise estimate during your consultation.
How does laser compare to electrolysis?
Both laser and electrolysis are effective treatments. However, laser is much more efficient for large areas. Electrolysis, on the other hand, is a more painful method that only treats one hair at a time and is therefore appropriate for small areas. This difference also makes electrolysis very expensive for larger body areas.
